I'm easing my way back into blogging, and here I have The British Tag for you. This is just a few fun questions to answer. I tag everyone who reads this, comment if you do this and I will read yours!

1. How many cups of tea do you drink a day and how many sugars?

I'm sorry to disappoint but, I drink one cup of tea a day, every other day. The amount of sugar depends on the type of tea! If I have a normal teabag I usually have half a tea spoon of sugar and half a tea spoon of milk, precisely. If it's earl grey or green tea I have no sugar or milk. Pretty weird I know.

2. What is your favourite part of your roast dinner?

The roast potatoes, without a doubt. I'm sure we all think the same?

3. What is your favourite dunking biscuit?

A digestive! I haven't dunk a biscuit in so long.

4. What is your favourite quintessentially British past time?

A very large glass of wine in the pub.

5. What is your favourite word?

Blimey. Don't ask why, it just really makes me laugh.

6. Do you know any Cockney Rhyming Slang?

I actually don't! Hahaha

7. What is your favourite sweet?

Dip Dab! Oh my, the best sweet ever! Sherbet and a lolly!

8. What would your pub be called?

I have absolutely no idea! I'm so bad at this.

9. Who is your No.1 British Person?

At the minute, Kate Middleton. She's absolutely gorgeous and dresses amazinggggg. 

10. Favourite Shop and Restaurant?

My favourite British shop would have to be Primark or Selfridges. My favourite restaurant is obviously Nandos.

11. What British song pops into your head?

Oasis - Wonderwall or anything by The Beatles. 

12. Marmite?

NO.

The title of this post is 'Where have I been?' However, the real question is where to start? Since the last time I posted I have done a lot! So I'm not your typical girly girl, I'm one of the minorities of girls that love football! I support Manchester City (if you're interested) and I follow them to their away games. The atmosphere is amazing. It's not so great when you're sat on a mini bus for 4 hours though. But wait, it gets better. In September, I travelled to MUNICH via mini bus from MANCHESTER. Yes, you read that right, we drove from Manchester to Munich! What an experience. The city is awesome in it's own, and I visited the Allianz Arena! Unfortunately, we lost. 

Let's rewind before Munich! I travelled to London and Newcastle for other football matches, I won't go into detail because I don't want to bore you. 

One of the main reasons I've actually been missing though, is because I'm back at university and in my second year. I haven't had the best start however, because I've been really poorly all of October. The first week I had Tonsillitis, a couple of days later, I caught Glandular Fever. *this is where you feel sorry for me* 

That's where I've been in a nut shell. I have other posts planned to get back into this, I'm sorry I've been away!

So next month I will be attending my baby cousins christening. Christenings are always fun! It's a great chance for family and friends to get together and have drinks! So this first outfit, I have gone for a dressy/casual look. I absolutely adore these shoes though, I'm definitely going to buy them, no matter what I decide to wear. The trousers are from River Island, always a good store to shop in. I love the baby blue colour, which reminds me of the 'it's a boy' decorations you see, when a family member, or friend welcomes a baby boy. Perfect for a christening! I opted for 3 simple white tops. Obviously, this outfit needs dressing up a bit with some jewellery and a bag. I'm looking for a bag, similar to the colour of the pants, and a gold statement necklace. I've also tried looking for dresses, I don't know about you, but, I find half of the dresses this season have no shape to them! They are literally like ironing boards, that just hang off your body! I like dresses that gives your body a bit of shape! Can you recommend any dresses?

1. What is your holy grail product?

Definitely my NYX powder. I have a post that you can check out, here so I won't go in to detail about it. I have to order this product online, as it's hard for me to get, as of where I live. :)

2. What is your favourite colour lipstick? 

Red without a doubt. I tend to usually wear darker reds though! I find it suits me a lot better than pink. If you have a suggestion for a nice pink lipstick, let me know!

3. What do you enjoy the most about blogging?

Reading. I honestly, like reading other people's blogs, it's the best way to get ideas for products you would like to try or even ideas for your own blog!

4. What type of blog posts do you enjoy reading the most?

Either reviews or a blog post about events! 

5. What do you think is the best kind of takeaway?

Any! Haha

6. What do you think is the best high end make up brand?

Illamasqua. I used to think MAC was the best, until I tried Illamasqua. This will probably change when I discover a new brand! Hahah

7. Do you prefer Autumn or Winter?

Winter! I love snuggling up in bed with a hot water bottle, a hot chocolate and a book! Christmas films are also a must in winter!

8. Favourite fashion trend? 

At the minute, I am loving the 'Made in the Sixites' products at asos. I would like to buy everything! 

9. Favourite nail polish brand?

I rarely wear nail polish so I'm going to skip this question! 

10. Something you want to achieve?

I want to graduate university with a first in my subject! That would make me very happy!

11. Favourite high street shop and why?

New Look! I absolutely love New Look fashion. They are affordable too! Do you ever go shopping for something that you need but can never find anything? I usually find something in New Look!

Sitting in the garden ..

So it's currently/apparently 26 degrees outside while I'm currently writing this! I am boiling! This morning when I woke up, I decided that I wanted to sit in the garden and catch some rays! I went to Zante in June, so my tan has ever so slightly faded! I would much rather keep it! So I grabbed the quilt I use for the garden, and took my laptop, phone, a book, oil and water! (Excuse me in my laptop screen). I highly recommend that you read Gone Girl if you haven't already! It's awesome, and it's going to be a film later this year. Here is a link to the trailer. I also read a couple of blogs, and jotted down some notes what I want to do for my blog. This didn't last long because I had company. Meet Mollie, my furry baby! She decided that I had to play with her. I've really caught the sun, so I'm off for a quick shower and I may hit the gym later!

One Product I can't Live Without

Nyx HD Studio Photogenic Grinding Powder

This is one of the best products that I have ever used on my face. I have tried all different brands for a face powder which gives a light coverage, or a heavy coverage if you intend. I wear this powder on a daily basis, without foundation. My face looks like I am wearing foundation if I am going for a heavy look, without it feeling heavy! This product is also great for setting liquid foundation, I pair this with my Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation in SB 11. If you're looking for a product which you can wear everyday and takes seconds to apply, then you should definitely try this out! The product costs £21, similar to the price of MACs Skin Finish. I found that the NYX product gave far better coverage and lasted a lot longer! I apply the product with the Real Techniques buffing brush. I definitely recommend you to try this product, it's amazing! 

I first discovered Nina in the popular show, The Vampire Diaries (a favourite of mine) or you may know her from The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I'm sure you will agree that she is absolutely stunning. She has amazing fashion sense, a flawless make-up finish and great hair. She has the most amazing eyebrows too! She definitely doesn't get the recognition that she deserves. 

 So you can get to know me better, I'm thinking of making this Woman Crush Wednesday a weekly thing, followed by a Man Crush Monday. Not only can you get to know me, my blog will have a lot more content, you can look at fashion, make-up, hair styles etc!

Get to know me

Hi! As you may or may not know, I have had this blog for a while! However, after I spent time away from the blog, I decided to delete all my posts, and have a fresh start. Now I'm back!

My name is Emily! :) You can call me Em for short!

I'm 20 years old, the teenage years are over!

4. Whats your favourite drink?

The coolers from Costa! Oh my, they are de-licious.

I usually have a million different songs that I love at the minute, but I've been listening to Love Runs Out by OneRepublic a lot at the minute.

That's a difficult one because again, I love my books! One of my recent favourites is The Fault in Our Stars! I read it a year before the film came out, since it's release I've read it again.

7. Favourite animal?

Dogs! I own a Jack Russell called Mollie, she's so cheeky it's unreal. 

8. Favourite perfume?

Marc Jacobs 'Daisy' and any of them.

9. Have you ever been out of the county?

I have! I've been to:

France - Calais, Paris

Nope, I'm an only child.

I have an iPhone 5s.

I'm pretty tall, but I don't know my exact height! I'll guess at 5"8.

Just Mollie.

19. What do you like to do over the weekends?

I usually work all weekend, but when I get the time, I usually go out in town, with my friends, or go out for food.

20. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?

When I was younger, my hair was quite wavy, however, it's pretty straight now.

21. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?

I dye my hair myself.

22. Do you wear the same style everyday, or do you change it?

It really does depend on the weather. 

23. How long does it take you to put on makeup?

It usually takes me about 10-15 minutes for an everyday look. When I'm going out it can take up to an hour, I take so long because I spend half of my time talking.

24. What do you do first? Face or eyes?

Face. 

25. Do you collect makeup or just buy what you need when you need it?

I'll collect makeup if I already have everything I need. 

26. How often do you wear false eyelashes?

I only wear them if I'm going out.

27. Do you do a full face of makeup everyday?

Absolutely not, I like my face to have a break. 

28. Do you wear makeup when you are home alone or with family?

If I'm going out with family I will wear makeup. Other than that, no.

29. How many high-end products do you have?

I have quite a lot, but that calls for another blog post!

30. Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you are getting dressed?

If I'm going out with friends, I tend to plan my outfit, but other than that, I just decide when I'm getting ready.

31. How often do you change your handbag?

Quite a lot, I'm due a new handbag now. 

32. What time do you wake up and go to sleep?

I don't really have set times. It changes everyday/night.

33. How often are you on Blogger?

I tend to come on everyday when I can, other than that it's every other day. 

34. Do you read comments posted on blogs?

I read all comments on my blog. I read some comments on others.

35. Do you keep a list of products to try as you see other posts?

A mental list.

36. How did you come up with your blog name?

My blog name is my full name with every second letter missing, with an 'x' at the end.  Not creative at all.

37. What kind of camera do you use for your photographs?

I use my iPhone 5, or Canon S120.

38. What is your favourite drugstore/high end makeup brand?

My favourite brands change all the time, for example, I used to really like MAC foundation, then I decided I preferred Illamasqua.

39. What are you doing with the rest of your day?

Well it's nearly half 6! I may go to the gym/swimming and start a new blog post later.
