It's three weeks today, until I go on holiday. I will be flying to Lanzarote, on a four and a half hour flight. I started to think about what I would be carrying in my hand luggage, a while ago. This post features the top five things I always take with me.

To start off with, I always take a number of books with me. That's for entertainment on the plane, and when I'm sat around the pool. Usually, I'll keep one in my suitcase, however, the airline I'm flying with doesn't offer inflight entertainment (apparently!) So I need to find other forms of entertainment. The first is Paper Towns by John Green. I'm pretty sure you've already heard about this one. It's been out a while, but it's the book I want to read next. I don't know about you, but I have phases of when I read, and when I don't. Last year, I look Game of Thrones with me. BIG MISTAKE. Don't get me wrong, I love Game of Thrones, but the thing is so difficult to read! I was constantly googling which character was which! Anyway .. a bit of topic. The second book is by a author called Paula Hawkins. To be honest, I haven't heard of her before now, but this book is a thriller, and I fancy something in contrast to John Green.

Secondly, my phone for a number of things. You can use an iPad too, but I prefer to leave that at home, just incase. I like to download puzzle games to use, and music! When it's a flight without inflight entertainment, I like to download my favourite programmes. At the minute, I'm doing a rerun of Gossip Girl, with my boyfriend. The best part of taking your phone is the plane selfie, when you're all set and ready to go.

Getting more into the beauty products. I don't like to wear heavy make-up on any flight, if I'm honest. To keep fresh, I have chosen a Victorias Secret fragrance mist. I absolutely love these. They smell delicious, and you can bring them home, and use them as room sprays. It just leaves you feeling a little fresher while you're on the flight, and you can top up in the toilets. I typically like to use a BB cream, to keep my face hydrated. I don't know about you, but my face and hands tend to dry out a little while flying. This helps to keep you hydrated throughout the flight, and it's easy to apply! Lastly is hand cream. I recently bought this from The Body Shop, and I LOVE the smell. It's the type of smell that makes you think its edible, so you have to bite your tongue not to.

Remember! Those bottles need to be small! The Victoria's Secret spray can be put into one of the fragrance travel fills.

Hello my dears! For a while, my boyfriend and I have been so desperate to find a holiday, and we have.  On the 2nd June we are heading out to Lanzarote. We're staying in Playa Blanca. I've been to Lanzarote before, but I was really young. I remember it being so hot though, with a breeze. To 'celebrate' my holiday, I've decided to do some posts about holiday and the summer. I'll probably start with like outfits and things I've seen on the internet etc. For this post, I'm just going to be showing you the hotel I am staying in. We're staying in a cute little bungalow.  Enjoy these pictures.

Where will you be going on holiday this year? Have you visited Lanzarote before?

It's been a while hasn't it? I do apologise. Keeping up blogs is such hard work, I don't know how most people do it. I love blogging so much, but things get in the way I guess. I work two days at the weekend, then I go to uni, and I'm about to start planning my dissertation (send help). So I guess I should tell you a little about where I've been?

Again, university is key. Also, my boyfriend. They both take up A LOT of my time. I say that like it's a bad thing (it's not, I promise). We've been together for 5 months now! Two weeks ago, we went to Wales. We were meant to be going to Barcelona but things happen! My mum owns a caravan in North Wales, so we had a little trip and spent a couple of nights there. The weather wasn't great (obviously) but it didn't rain! We went on two little day trips, one to Conwy and one to Llandudno. Have you ever been there? We went up Conwy castle and it was a struggle. So. Many. Steps.

Before the castle we went to the cutest little cafe. I ate a vegetable lasagne!

This was at the top of one of the towers. We were stood up there for a few minutes, and we heard a huge roar! Terrified for my life, but it turned out to be a train!

Walking into the castle, you're welcomed by this very grumpy man ...

And lots and lots and lots of seagulls ..

But, the views are pretty awesome.

I didn't take many pictures in Llandudno, because it was freezing! We just had a walk along the pier, and went to get a pub lunch. I bought us both some donuts, but we was advised to put them away. Why? Because there was a huge seagull ready to take them away.

We can't wait to go back to both places, when the tourist attractions reopen. It's so much fun, and it barely costs any money.

Are you planning any little breaks this year? Have you visited these places before? Let me know.
